Awesome! The reviews are so true. Passing thru and had a wild hair to take some Walleye to my family in Pittsburgh. Cheerful, kind and most accommodating. Packed my fillets into a box of ice (since I wasn't carrying a cooler) AND carried it to the lady car! Ten stars!
Opened the door and walked back in time. I was greeted by a very nice group who were filleting fresh fish. I asked if they sold to the general public and the kind man bagged up three pounds of fresh yellow perch and covered it with a shovelful of ice for the ride home. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Very nice people to work with. Very friendly. Fish are filleted in the spot. Can't get any fresher. Rarely any bones. I think we've found 1 in the 3 years we've been buying from here. Highly recommend. We take our own cooler and they will pack with ice.
This place is typically open early and until 2 pm. With covid, you can call from your car to order and they bring to you. Fresh clean fish. We typically get walleye or perch. Walleye is currently $10 a pound which is about one fish, two cleaned filets which we cut in halves to better fit pan. We dont bother to bread it just pan fry with salt and garlic. Currently perch is $17 per pound...market price ...
